This Privacy Policy describes how Nineish Months ("the app") handles information. Our commitment to protecting user privacy is paramount and is reflected in the design of our app. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices.
By using Nineish Months, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
1. Our Core Privacy Principle: Data Minimization
Our primary goal is to provide a private, standalone guide for your pregnancy journey. We believe in Data Minimization and do not collect any personal data directly from you.
With one specific exception for managing paid features (see Section 2 below), our app does not:
Collect any personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Track your location or request location permissions.
Collect any usage data or analytics about how you interact with the app's content.
Create user accounts or profiles. You can use the app's free content fully without any login or sign-up.
2. In-App Purchases and Our Third-Party Payment Service
To offer and manage premium features, we only use one third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat provides the framework for processing in-app purchases and managing subscription status.
To provide this service, RevenueCat handles the following data:
Anonymized User ID: RevenueCat generates a random, anonymous identifier for your user profile within our app. This ID is not linked to your personal identity.
Purchase Data: Information about the subscription you purchased, including the purchase date, expiration date, and the App Store transaction receipt.
We use this data processed by RevenueCat for the sole purpose of:
Validating your purchase and unlocking premium content.
Allowing you to restore your purchase on other devices logged into the same Apple ID.
Understanding our app's performance through aggregated, anonymized revenue data.
We do not share any personal health information or other sensitive data with RevenueCat. For more details on how RevenueCat protects your data, we encourage you to review their privacy policy:
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Other than the anonymous purchase data managed by RevenueCat, we do not collect any personal data, and therefore there is no data to retain or delete on our servers. To manage your subscription or view your purchase history, please use the tools provided by Apple in your App Store account settings.

Nineish Months will not request permission to access any protected user data or device features, including but not limited to:
Photos or Photo Library
Contacts
Microphone or Camera
HealthKit Data
Location Services
5. Health and Medical Information
Nineish Months provides general information related to pregnancy, which is considered a sensitive health topic.
No Health Data Collection: In line with Apple's strict rules for health apps (Guideline 5.1.3), we do not collect, store, or share any personal health information. The app does not integrate with the HealthKit API.
Informational Purposes Only: The content provided in this app is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider.
6. Third-Party Links
The app may contain links to external websites for informational / reference purposes (e.g., links to health organizations). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.

Terms of Service for Nineish Months

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nineish Months mobile application ("the App" or "Service") provided by us.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
1. IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
The content provided within the Nineish Months App, including all text, graphics, images, and other material, is for informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, pregnancy, or your health and well-being.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read in this App.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor, go to the emergency department, or call emergency services immediately.
We do not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be mentioned in the App. Reliance on any information provided by Nineish Months is solely at your own risk.
2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App is free to download and trial for the first 14 weeks and may offer access to certain extra features at no cost. Additional features and content ("Premium Features") are available at a one-off cost.
Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
No Refunds: All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for any purchases, as they are handled directly by Apple's App Store.
We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage our subscriptions. Your interaction with RevenueCat is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All content within the App, including text, graphics, logos, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Nineish Months or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Modify, adapt, reverse engineer, or decompile the App.
Sell, rent, lease, or redistribute the App or its content.
Use the App in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, or negatively affect the Service or its servers.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems.
5. Third-Party Links & Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such content or services.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may terminate these Terms by deleting the App from your device.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or future availability of the App, or the information, content, or materials included therein. To the fullest extent permissible by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Nineish Months, its affiliates, directors, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory. Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from the use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for use of the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, the origin of the app, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within New Zealand to resolve any dispute or claim arising from these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to use the App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
