Lazy years in my La-Z-Boy

If i could recommend only ONE pregnancy survival object/gadget/thing. It would be a La-Z-Boy (A Rocker recliner) A real squishy one to be exact.

This would have to be the best money spent, and the most versatile through every stage of a pregnancy, newborn and even 7 years down the track with a mini-tween who still loves her snuggles.

During pregnancy in the later stages you are advised to not sleep on your back. This then causes what feels like acid build up in your hips because you are getting too heavy to constantly turn from side to side to give your hip reprieve. A La-Z-Boy (Literally not sponsored - just my own two cents) means you can have multiple day naps in your chair in a semi-upright position - but heck its really a cloud, gravity doesn’t seem to exist once you’re in there.

A full nights sleep is out of the question in the later stages of your nineish months, so many many day naps are vital to get your 7-8 hours of snooze in.

Stage 2. Once you’ve had bubs (or multiple bubs) living in your rocker recliner is the norm. You can nap, feed, snuggle and just do general life in that one spot.

Top tip: cover it in a few blankets when you’re going through the newborn power vom phase!

Stage 3. Bubs has started at daycare and the germs are everywhere, they’re sick every few weeks, and when they’re sick they literally spend a full day in your arms. This is the best spot in the house to nurse them back to health, keep your sanity and everyone gets some decent naps and cuddles.

Stage 4. Bubs is 7 years old now, and still wants to watch a movie in your arms. They’re all legs and arms but somehow the chair still fits you both and the cuddles are epic!

So if you get at least 8 years out of it and it cost you say $1,000 (of any currency) that would come out to 3 cents a day. BEST return on investment for any baby product ever!
