Listen, mamas, we need to talk. We all know the "pregnancy glow" is mostly just sweat and harsh lighting, and by the time you hit the second trimester, sleep becomes a competitive sport that you are definitely losing.

My beautiful darling, you started off in breech position quite early into my pregnancy and you stayed put. A sign of your tremendous strength and determination I see in your personality still today. Because I had a c-section with your older sister and you were not going to budge from being upside down (and also folded in half!) it was no doubt that you would also be a c-section. I was very relieved at that, as I was always too scared to have a natural birth even with your sister.

My darling daughter. You made me wait 8 days overdue before anything remotely began to happen. In that time, all the other Mums in my coffee group had long had their babies and my jealousy levels were so high because all I wanted to do was meet my baby girl who I had spent my entire life waiting to meet.
